About Fucidin H cream

Fucidin H is a topical treatment containing two active ingredients. Fusidic acid, an antibiotic and hydrocortisone acetate, a steroid (and an anti-inflammatory). Fusidic acid prevents bacteria from multiplying, afterwitch they either die off or are killed by the immune system. Hydrocortisone prevents the skin from becoming inflamed by constricting blood vessels, reducing the release of chemicals that cause swelling. Fucidin H cream helps to clear up infected skin and is used to treat skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Fucidin H cream is a prescription only medication. Now Patient offers Fucidin H cream as a treatment for psoriasis only, following an online consultation with a prescribing clinician.
